While American, Delta, and United Airlines continue to see their profits soar to record-breaking heights each year, the workers who are vital to passengers’ daily in-flight experiences continue earning low-wages that cannot sustain a family, are forced to work overtime hours every week, and either pay high premiums for substandard healthcare or risk going without insurance entirely.
In 2019, the movement moves onward with over 18,000 airline food workers in contract negotiations. Because for too long, airline catering workers have been FED UP – but they aren’t taking it anymore. And they’re willing to do whatever it takes to win what’s fair.
